Anker Soundcore Life P3 Review

Anker’s Soundcore Life P3 has enough features and bassy music to make even the greatest noise-canceling earphones stop. Call clarity and touch features, on the other hand, aren’t as dependable as one may anticipate from a fresh release. Read on to find out if these flaws even impact when it comes to overall efficiency.

Design and Comfort

The Anker Life P3 wireless earphones are comparable to the Liberty Air 2 Pro, except for larger mic casings for “improved sound quality” and an all-plastic body. The ear tips create a hermetic fit around for optimal stability, which is fine. The buds are comfortable to wear on the ears, albeit your concha may become uncomfortable after two to three hours of use.

App and Special Features

Anker has tried to improve the majority of the EQs, providing a wider range of options to complement all types of music. Anker also made a soundtracks mode (Enhanced Sleep) to help you sleep better. The 11 sound profiles serve to alleviate any stress or discomfort you may be feeling during the day. The Sound core app also includes earbud battery level indicators, switch controls, system updates, a fast start guide, and a Find Device setting.

Sound Quality

The Soundcore Signature EQ from Anker creates a warm, pleasant sound. The Life P3 likes upbeat, modern music, but it also does well in other genres. Anker created a Gaming Mode for mobile gaming that promises lower latency and better sound effects. On Ahmad Jamal’s “The Awakening,” I could hear the constant hi-hats, but they lost focus once bigger equipment and notes were performed.

Call Quality and Connectivity

The Anker Soundcore Life P3 earphones are Bluetooth 5.0 compatible and provide a steady connection. Connecting to smartphones and laptops took seconds, and re-pairing to my last linked device took even less time. Although the microphones successfully blocked out the most of background noise, conversations had an echo-like effect, as if I were talking in a small room. This made it tough to communicate. It would have been good if the buds could be connected to two different devices at the same time.

Active Noise Cancellation

Travel, Home, and Outside are the 3 major noise reduction (ANC) options on the Anker Life P3. Acoustic signals such as motors and traffic noise are targeted by this mode of transportation. Indoors was my favorite of the three, and it was ideal for working hours. There’s a 2 Transparent Mode to either obtain a better understanding of your surroundings (Fully Transparent) or to enhance vocals so you can hear people talk more easily (Vocal Mode).

 Battery life and charging case

With ANC switched on, the Anker Soundcore Life P3 earphones boast a 6-hour battery life, which is higher than the AirPods Pro (5.5 hours). The buds take 2 hours to fully charge, while the power case takes three hours. With inductive charging, I witnessed my battery levels rise from 70% to 90% in just five min.

Pros

  • The depth of the bass is matched by the crispness of the highs.
  • For the price, the noise cancellation is very effective.
  • ANC and EQ values can be adjusted

Cons

  • The voice quality is average.
  • Touch controllers that are tricky

Conclusion

Anker’s truly wireless Soundcore Life P3 earphones provide tremendous audio quality and remarkably decent active noise-canceling.
