Eufy Robovac G30 Review

Eufy Robovac G30 Review

The Eufy RoboVac G30 is a small robot vacuum cleaner that can fit into small places. With a height of 2.85 inches, it can clean places where other robot vacuums can’t, such as under couches. It has a decent battery life, but it has smarter navigation than its predecessors. It’s a solid competitor to the iRobot Roomba 675, although the latter is still our Editors’ Choice.

Design and Features:

The Eufy RoboVac G30 is one of the tiniest robot vacuums we’ve seen, with a diameter of 12.8 inches and a height of 2.85 inches. It boasts a sleek black and blue design with three physical buttons and a 600ml dustbin that houses an E11 high-performance filter. The G30’s suction is 2,000Pa, far above the 600Pa of the Roomba 675. According to reviews from thousands of users, the Roborock S6 MaxV, Neato Botvac D4 Connected, Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI, and iRobot Roomba s9+-03 are some of the best-selling vacuums on the market right now.

EufyHome App:

The EufyHome app is simple and uncomplicated to use. You can start and stop cleaning jobs, choose the cleaning mode and suction level, create a cleaning plan, and look at your cleaning history. The robot builds a very basic map of your home in the app while it cleans. The Roomba 675 does not have any mapping capabilities, but it is less expensive.

Setup and Maintenance:

Although the EufyRoboVac G30 robotic vacuum does not come with a remote, it may be controlled via the EufyHome app. The base should be placed on a hard, flat surface three feet away from items on either side and six feet across from anything, according to the manufacturer. When completely charged, the battery icon in the app will show Standby.

When the robot’s anti-drop sensors are dirty or utilized on carpet or particularly dark flooring, they are less effective. Keep the robot out of moist areas and use physical barriers around fireplaces and other potentially dangerous situations. A cleaning tool, as well as an extra filter and side brush, are included in the box.

Performance:

The RoboVac G30 is one of our tiniest robot vacuums. It’s just long enough to clean behind my living room couch without getting stuck. It isn’t too loud in Auto mode, which you would most likely use. The Roomba 675’s noise level is one of my few issues. When I tried the RoboVac G30 robotic vacuum, it outlasted the iRobot Roomba 675 by two hours.

It was easy to use with Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands, and the scheduling feature worked as intended. In the companion apps of more expensive floor-cleaning robots, such as the Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI and Proscenic M7 Pro, you can create virtual border zones for no-go zones.

Battery Life:

The battery life of the Eufy RoboVac G30 Hybrid is 1 hour 50 minutes, and it takes between 5 and 6 hours to fully recharge. We discovered that one full charge was enough to clean a three-bedroom, two-story house. When the robot vacuum needs to be recharged, it will automatically return to the base station. It’s frustrating that the battery level isn’t presented in the app as a percentage rather than a difficult-to-read image.

Pros:

  • Design is compact and low-profile.
  • For its small, it has a lot of suction force.
  • The well-designed app
  • It’s simple to set up and utilize.
  • Works seamlessly with voice commands from Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
  • It has a clever navigation system for cleaning systematically.

Cons:

  • Strips and virtual boundaries are not supported.
  • The battery life is really short.

Conclusion:

The Eufy RoboVac G30 robot vacuum cleaner boasts a compact design, great suction power for its size, and smarter navigation than previous models.
