Smart GoPro Hero10 Black Review 2023
In my review of GoPro Hero10 Black, it is a more progressive improvement as Analysis it with the innovative Hero9. The Hero10 black is compatible with Hero9 accouterments because the form factor is the same.
With the help of excellent stabilization, the video engine revises for 5.3K60 and 4K120 capture. It’s the best GoPro yet, despite costing more than the earlier models.

GoPro Hero10 Black Features:
The GoPro Hero 10 Black features a GP2 processor, new frame-rate options, and the same 23.6MP, 1/2.3-inch sensor as the Hero 9 Black. It’s been 4 years since the last significant processing improvement in GoPros, so this one is way overdue.
A real possibility for broadcasting with HyperSmooth is the eagerly anticipated 4K/120p delayed mode. The GoPro Hero 10 Black includes enhanced sky leveling and noise control. Now available for the most demanding modes (5.3K/30p, 4K/60p, and 2.7K/120p) is Hyper Smooth 4.0 stabilization.
Now that this camera has good image stabilization. The camera can be used as a live broadcast. With the addition of Hyper Smooth, the GoPro Hero 10 Black becomes a far superior live-streaming device.
All of the unique autofocus systems we saw on the Hero 9 Black are also carried over. These include “Power Tools,” which were initially hinted at in GoPro Labs, and Time Warp 3.0.
One of our favorite modes that produce a stabilized time-lapse clip. Once GoPro Labs software installs on the camera, many of these functions are also accessible on the earlier Hero 8 Black.
GoPro Hero10 Black Design:
The GoPro Hero 10 Black and its successor, the Hero 9 Black, share the same physical design. The new, tougher lens cover repels water far better than previous models. It allows no drips to obstruct your view.
The camera still includes foldable “fingers” in its base that allow for direct accessory attachment. For Youtuber, there is a 1.4-inch front LCD . GoPro claims are now somewhat quicker when turned on. The GoPro Hero 10 Black action camera is the replacement for the Hero 9 Black from a year ago.
It utilizes the same 1,720mAh battery as its predecessor and features a 1.4-inch display. Previous batteries won’t function as a result, so if you’re switching from an earlier version, hold off. The camera supports wireless video transmission over USB-C. But apple users will require a connector.
Hero10 Black Performance:
Similar to its sibling, the GoPro Hero 9 Black, the Hero 10 Black features a 1,720mAh battery, however, it is more power-hungry due to dual displays and higher recognition options. A full day’s worth of use requires 72 mins of nonstop recording with HyperSmooth activated and the screen brightness set to 50%.
The camera survived three and a half hours in a true test while being used at an amusement park before giving out. It’s a lot of fun to experiment with the new slow-mo settings (4K/120p and 2.7K/240p), and they’re a terrific way to spice up your videos.
Hero10 Black Video and image quality sample:
In my GoPro Hero10 Black Review i Compared to previous models, the GoPro Hero 10 Black has chosen a more natural color tone. 2.7k/240p and 4K/120p video also have new slow-motion options, both of which are entertaining to film.
watched the video that was captured at a bit rate of “high” for the best picture quality, and it was taken at 120p and 240p. The water-resistant GoPro Hero 10 might serve as a decent substitute for your iPhone. The images are fairly clear and vibrant under excellent lighting, and SuperPhoto can help you recover some highlighted detail.
However, the Hero 9 Black’s 3MP resolution upgrade won’t be obvious to most people, and in challenging lighting conditions, like as low light, it can’t match the computing power of Apple, Google, and Samsung.
Gopro hero 10 battery life
The GoPro Hero10 Black has the same 1720 mAh battery as the GoPro Hero9, which is unique among GoPro batteries. GoPro makes no new claims, so expect the Hero10 to last 1.5 to 2 hours on a single charge, depending on your settings. I discovered that the more you use HyperSmooth, the faster your battery drains.
There are three new modes on the camera: Maximum Video Performance, Extended Battery, and Tripod/Stationary mode. GoPro claims that using the final setting, the Hero10 will be able to record the following clip lengths in a 77-degree room with no airflow:
GoPro Hero10 Black review: Accessories
There is an entire cottage industry built around making GoPro accessories. Some of the best GoPro accessories include waterproof cases, hand grips that float it to the surface, external lights, microphones, and more.
GoPro sells a variety of Mods, which include a light ($34.99), a microphone ($55.99), and a flip-up display ($55.99). Furthermore, a Max Lens Mod ($69.99) will keep the horizon level even if the camera is rotated 360 degrees. This Mod will not be compatible with the Hero10 at launch; a firmware update sometime this fall will fix that.
Resolution | Clip length |
---|---|
5.3K/60frame per second | 28 minutes |
5.3K/30 frame per second | 45 minutes |
4K/120 frame per second | 26 minutes |
4K/60 frame per second | 63 minutes |
4K/30 frame per second | 50 minutes |
GoPro Hero10 Black Pros and Cons

Extended-run Endurance battery offered as an add-on | |
Wi-Fi and USB transmission for smartphones and tablets | |

Conclusion:
The GoPro Hero10 Black Review show resembles the Hero9 in appearance but records video at twice the frame rate and with more bits, bringing it the company’s greatest adventure camera to date.
